The Dire Dawa Administration Construction Bureau has held an awareness creation program among its staff on the occasion of the 18th World Anti-Corruption and Ethics Day and the 16th Ethiopian Nations, Nationalities& Peoples Day Eve.During the program it was mentioned that Corruptionis rampant in the world, in Africa, and in particular, in our country, Ethiopia.
In connection with this, the Dire Dawa Administration Construction and Housing Development Bureau was held Awareness Raising Forum to commemorate the Nations, Nationalities Day& Peoples, which is a symbol of our identity, unity and strength. Derara Ibrahim, Deputy Head of the Dire Dawa Administration Construction and Housing Development Bureau, said.
Derara added that from the point of view of fulfilling their responsibilities, providing honest and sincere service to the community, and supporting the Heroic Defense Force.”The Society should support the national defense force and preserve the unity and solidarity of all nationalities,” Derara said.
The staff of the Bureau who participated in the forum, for their part, said that the anti-corruption day was organized on Eve of the 16th Ethiopian Nations, Nationalities & Peoples Day to raise awareness, especially on the prevention of corruption and malpractice. Participants also said that it will play an important role in gaining and exchanging sufficient experience.
