# Victory for Ethiopia’s Cycling held in Dire Dawa DDYSC | January 08, 2022 # Ethiopia’s Victory Diaspora participation Cycling Race Held in Dire Dawa yesterday.

    Following the Home coming call byEthiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed, the Ethiopian and friends of Ethiopian descent from various countries are coming to their homeland, in connection with this, Diasporas in Dire Dawa participated in the Ethiopia’s Victory Diaspora participation Cycling Race Held in Dire Dawa yesterday.
    Yesterday, in Dire Dawa City,the Cycling Race was divided into 5 categories in Kezira area. Thus in C category, Cyclist Elias Semi finished1st,DagimAssefa 2nd, AbenezerAschalewfinished 3rd; in B category YonasAdugnafinished1st,BirhanuWagnewfinished 2nd, and Abraham Tsige went 3rd.
    In the Health Category, AtirsagnTebabal, YonasBelihu, and MasreshaBirhanufinished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively; from the former cyclists,Isaiah Afewerk won the Race as well as YidnekachewWaqte from America and AbdiShifa did win the Race.
    In the high-profile Course, Cyclist Kiya Jamal astonishingly won the 20 Round Cycling Race;DegagaZelalem and ZerihunLatera finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively. A cash Prize that ranges from 2,500 to 1,000 Birr was awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Winners.
    The Dire Dawa Youth and Sports Commission Commissioner Furaul Bulcha, President of the Federation, Jamal Rogora, and other invited Guests were presented inthe cash prizes provision Event.
    The Dire Dawa Youth and Sports Commission Commissioner, Furaul Bulcha, thanked those who participated in the competition and contributed to the success of the Event. The commission will further strengthen its efforts to improve the City’s Sports in coordination and cooperation with public sports federations and associations, Commissioner Furaol Bulcha pledged.
    At the End, the Commissioner called on all concerned Bodies to join hands and change Dire Dawa’s sport.
