A panel discussion was held on the occasion of International Tourism Day.
The International Tourism Day underway in Dire Dawa Administration was held today at the Dire Dawa City Council Hall.
Speaking at the panel discussion, Dire Dawa Administration Council Speaker, W/roFatum Mustafa, said the country needs to strengthen its efforts to promote the country’s tourism Attractions by linking our country’s Tourism attractions with our culture. In order to alleviate the pressure on Tourism caused by the Corona virus, the Dire Dawa Administration is working with in collaboration with the Administration’s Health Bureau to ensure that visitors to the city visit the tourist attractions at different times.
Dire Dawa Administration Culture and Tourism Office Head, MuradBedewi, said the 34th Tourism Day is to promote the city’s tourist attractions by visiting sanitation, planting trees, cycling, panel discussion, art evening and historical places.
The Panel Discussion was attended by dignitaries, religious leaders, facilitators, and dignitaries, including the State Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Her Excellency Mrs. Buzena Al-Keder. Schedule is made to make a visit for Tourist Attraction Areas, Travelling by Train, Thanks Giving and Recognition Program.
