A visit was made to the retired staff and their families who had many years of service at the branch. W/ro Asegash Kebede left the institute for 6 years after working as an accountant from 1996-2008e.c.
She was so hungry of Persons that she burst into tears when she saw her fellow workers knocking on hers door.
She was shocked and overjoyed when she received the small amount of money and Suplies provided by the Director General.
We went to the house of W/ro Tigist, who had recently passed away, and we met her young daughter, Meklit, with her teenage wisdom she thanked the visitor with full of Tears as if she looking for her Mom behind the Visitors.
With tears in her eyes, we left her providing school bag and some supplies and money in the name of our Director General.
Until we parted ways with our former colleague, Adamu, who was overwhelmed by the visit, we have been able to reach out to the former head of the institute, Mohamed, and we have parted ways.
Speaking on the occasion, W/ro Saada Awale said that an institution should be commended for its service when it comes to better service by honoring the past to strive for the present.
“We thank and encourage the industrious ones and discourage those who are not loyal,” he said.
Various employee activation programs were also held during the day.
