Dire Dawa University graduates 2,093 postgraduate and undergraduate students

    Dire Dawa University graduated 728 Female and 1326 Male a total of 2093 post and under graduate students today.
    Speaking at the Graduation Ceremony, Dr. Ubah Adam, President of the University said that the university has been experiencing tragic problems due to the current situation in the past few years. But now the university is working hard on things not happen again; thus a Consultation Council was establish drawn from different segments of the nearby community.
    Dr. Ubah also congratulated the Graduates of 2012e.cwho have come through various ups and downs, including Covad-19.
    Dr. Alemu Sime, Chairperson of the Board for Dire Dawa University management and Head of the Department of Political and Civic Affairs, on his part said that various transformation processes are underway in Ethiopia. He requested the Graduates to be keen observer of the transformation processes and carry out their responsibilities to make successful the upcoming national Election.
    Yossef Wube, a trophy-winning graduate of the university with a score of 3.97, said he is happy to have done so during the academic year and will do his best to serve the country and the community in his field of study.
    The Graduation ceremony was attended by the Mayor of the Administration, Ahmed Mohamed Buh, religious leaders, elders and invited guests.
