It has been stated that since the establishment of the results-oriented education and training system to lead the country’s TVET sector, the sector will fulfill its responsibilities of producing skilled and ethical medium and Operational level manpower to the social and economic development of the country the based on the needs of the labor market.A total of 1,311 students graduated from Level 2 through Level 4 in seven departments and 29 students from Satellite Campus in 4 Departments in Degree program.
Congratulating the graduating students and their families, Dean of the College, Tadele Asefa, said this year’s graduation is unique that due to worldwide pandemic COVID 19 Learning Teaching and Training have been interrupted but the students have taken all the necessary courses, completed successfully and graduated today.
Having congratulated the graduating students, teachers of the college and families of the graduates Speaker of the Administration Council and Guest of honor on the occasion, Fatum Mustafa, stated that we need to modernize the Educational Vocational Training sectors and train skilled manpower who will be demanded by the Industry market in order to lift out the country from poverty.
Finally, students who excelled in their studies and students who performed well in the departments were awarded medals and certificates, and the public and private organizations that had a working relationship with the college received certificates from the guest of honor, W/ro Fatum Mustafa.
