Awareness is being given to the Dire Dawa administration on the human resource efficiency framework

    In his opening remarks, the Deputy Mayor of the Administration, Ahmed Buh, stated that the public service sector is part of the national reform to be competent, independent, competent and to achieve better results; he also requested the participants to change in to practice what they have got from the awareness creation forum.
    According to Tesfaye Belachew, Deputy General Manager of the Federal CivilService Commission Human Resource Assurance Framework, the government is striving to organize and make the public service sector independent, competent and efficient by preparing roadmapto implement it in all civil service institutions, federal and regional states as well as universities.
    This roadmap includes four major programs: free, independent and efficient civil service building, human resource development and management system, value building and ethics, and effective government service system building.
    Abubakar Adosh, Head of the Public Service and Human Resource Development Bureau of Dire Dawa, on his part said the training was organized with the support of the Federal Civil Service Commission in order put Ethiopia in the level of developed countries by empowering the civil servants both in attitude and practice. The Awareness raising forum is expected to continue today.
