Action is being taken against Illegal traders and consumer Associations

    Deputy Mayor and Head of the Trade, Industry and Investment Bureau, Kedir Juhar, said action is being taken to set up a price monitoring and control task force against Illegal traders and Consumer Associations that increase the price of basic commodities.
    Deputy Mayor Kedir Juhar discussed with senior officials of the Administration, the Commissioner of Police, the Prosperity Party, the Federal Prosecutor, Revenue and Customs, and executives of the nine urban kebeles.
    During the meeting, the Deputy Mayor said administrative and legal action will be intensified against illegal traders and consumer associations who increase prices, stockpile and stockpile goods without any economic reason.
    According to the Bureau of Trade, Industry and Investment, more than 235 shops and warehouses have been closed and six FSR trucks are being investigated.
