The Dire Dawa Administration Health Bureau Head, LemlemBezabeh, told to Media that 87 samples have been sent to the Public Health Institute this year and 4 people have been diagnosed with Dengue Fever.
Having the Chairman of the Task Force, Honorable Mayor, KedirJuhar and Vice Chairman Deputy MayorHarbiBuh; Secretary is the Head of Health Bureau, Government Communication Affairs Bureau, Education Bureau, Agriculture Water Mine and Energy Bureau, Mayor’s Office, theMass Media Agency, Construction Housing Development Administration, Youth and Sports Commission, Dire Dawa University, Conference of Religious Institutions, Red Cross, and Private Health Institutions are members of the Task Force.
It is said that we need to eradicate the accumulated waste water from our Administration while solving the country’s problems.
It is called on to Kebeles, civic associations, governmental and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to eliminate waste and wastewater and prevent health and social problems caused by waste.
According to TameneWoldemariam from the Education Bureau, working with special attention to garbage will help to achieve the goal of making Dire Dawa a clean and beautiful place to live.
