The community should get vaccinated against COVID 19 virus

    It has been suggested that the community should get vaccinated against the Covid 19 Pandemic virus, despite the misinformation about the vaccine.
    The Covid 19 Weekly Vaccination program was officially launched at the Mayor’s Office premises in the presence of Dire Dawa Mayor Kedir Juhar, senior leaders and religious leaders.
    Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mayor Kedir Juhar said more than 60,000 people are planning to be vaccinated during the 10 Days of Vaccination Campaign in our Administration.
    Schools, Private and Public Institutions and those involved in any sector of the profession can consult with the Administration’s Health Bureau and get vaccinated at their respective workplaces, despite the misinformation about covid-19 vaccines available to people around the world. He stressed the need to protect themselves from the serious Illness and Death caused by the Vaccine.
    For their part, the Religious Leaders who attended the opening ceremony said that the community should protect themselves from any misinformation and misrepresentation of the Covid-19 vaccine.
    The clerics, who attended the opening ceremony, said the public should beware of misinformation about the CVD-19 vaccine and that any religion should not be vaccinated. He said the existing parishioners should understand this.
    During the 10 Days of the Campaign, the Religious Leaders also called on the Parishioners to refrain from engaging in activities that dishonor the Religion and offend the Creator and do not follow those who spread false information about the CVD-19 vaccine; they should also follow the example of our religious leaders.
    The vaccination campaign will take place from November 6-15/3/ 2014e.c, said Lemlem Bezabih, head of the Dire Dawa Administration Health Bureau.
