Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Day to be celebrated at a time when all Ethiopians are saving the Country

Zahra Hummed, Deputy Speaker of the House of Federation of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE), said the Nations and Nationalities Day, which has been celebrated for years in various regions and City Administrations, will be celebrated this year under the motto “Brotherhood for National Unity”.
This 16th Nations, Nationalities and Peoples’ Day will be celebrated with the coordination of the House of Federation and the Dire Dawa City Administration, she explained. What makes this year’s festival special is that it is celebrated at a time when all nations, nationalities and peoples are standing together and saving the country at a time when Ethiopia is facing the threat of a joint Threat both internally from Terrorist Junta and its Accomplices and externally from Foreigners.
The Deputy Speaker recalled that the Terrorist group, in collaboration with Foreign Forces, had carried out an unprecedented act of Treason against the Northern Command in an attempt to dismantle the Ethiopian Defense Forces (EDF).
Although our country is currently embroiled in a desperate campaign for survival, it is said to be a colorful celebration of the defeat of our enemies who seek to undermine our Multi Ethnic democracy and renew the pact of nations, nationalities and peoples.
Accordingly, the event will be celebrated by the Dire Dawa City Administration with a panel discussion and the regions will celebrate the occasion by providing awareness raising training to the kebeles through timely discussion documents prepared by the center.
The House of Federation announced that all Federal and State Civil Service Employees, Teachers, Students and University community, Women’s and Youth Organizations will discuss the documents provided by the Organizer.
