The Speaker of the Dire Dawa Administration Council, W/roFetihya Aden, the Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the House and the Secretary of the Council, Ato Sintayehu Mamo visited the Dire Dawa Media Organization, one of the institutions responsible for the Council. Honorable Council leaders toured the various departments of the Media under the guidance of the General Manager of the Media Organization, Ato Abdussalam Meidene, and finally had a discussion with the management members of the Organization.
During the discussion, the management members of the organization explained the current situation of the Media. In particular, financial issues, workplace inconvenience, lack of resources, lack of vehicles and lack of focus have been cited as challenges to the institution’s ability to function at its full potential. The Speaker of the Dire Dawa Administration Council, W/roFetihyapledgedthat efforts will be made to resolve the issue and the council will focus on issues that need to be supported.
