The Nine Political Parties in the Dire Dawa Administration held talks on current affairs in the country.They stated that they will focus on supporting the Government in the post War Situations.
During the discussion, a document which has been prepared and approved by Senior Government Officials led by the Prime Minister,was presented and all Political Parties operating in the city expressed their views on the document.
The great tragedy that befell in our country, Ethiopia, both internally and externally, has resulted in the unity and cooperation of its people, and even more so with the local community.Dire Dawa Political Parties Joint Council Chairperson, Ato Yonas Batru, said an agreement has been reached between the government and each Political Party.
Ato Yonas added that the ongoing internal and external propaganda campaign in our country, especially the highly-supported propaganda process, has distorted the perception of the people.He also said that it has been reached on an agreement on what each political party should do to the government in order to reverse this and ensure the peace and unity of the community as well as support the affected areas.
