Participants of the 8th Integrated Basin Development Project, which was officially launched yesterday, said that integrated watershed development is the cornerstone of our sustainable irrigation development, which will lay the foundation for the next generation to prosper.
We have also learned that economic growth has an irreplaceable role to play in expanding the good practices gained through integrated river basin development in the past years.
The 8th Basin Development Works started yesterday under the theme “Integrated Basin Development for All Prosperity”.It was officially launched yesterday in the presence of members of the Dire Dawa Prosperity Party and senior government officials.
