The Dire Dawa Administration Council is holding its 48th regular session. Yesterday, at Dire Dawa Ras-hotel Recognition program was held at the council for the members and executives who have made significant contributions to the past Administration.
Speaking on the occasion, the Dire Dawa Administration Council Speaker, W/ro Fatum Mustafa, said that the work of Dire Dawa, especially the security situation in Dire Dawa, is a testament to the work of council members and executive bodies. She said the Outgoing Council will provide counseling and assistance for the newly formed Cabinet.
Kedir Juhar, Dire Dawa Administration and Trade Industry and Investment Bureau Head thanked, Alemu Megra, a member of the council who has served for the past eight years, and Dire Dawa Police Commissioner, for his significant contribution to making the city a safer place after all those insecurities.
At the end of the program, members of the council and executive bodies who have made significant contributions to the council over the years received certificates from the Guests of Honor.
