More than 200 former members of the Defence Force and Veterans have received a well-go ceremony
Former members of the Defence Force and the Veterans have received a well-go ceremonyby the Dire Dawa Administrationin their response to the National call to go to defend the Sovereignty of the countryfighting against the Terrorist Group.
Speaking on the occasion, Dire Dawa Mayor, Kedir Juhar, said the Administration is proud to respond to the National call on the criminal group to stop the massacre of innocent people and the conspiracy to destroy the country.
He called on the Former members of the Defence Force and the Veterans to do what they can to end the war by putting the country first.
Colonel Yonas Roba, head of the Dire Dawa and Harar Liaison, said the Former Members of the Army also accepted the call to thwart the plot and that a total of 202 Former members of the Army are ready to join the Defence Force.
The Former Members of the Army stated that they had been forced out of the Army by conspirators and members of the Junta during their previous years in the Army, adding that they felt bad by what happened on 04-November 2020 on our Heroic Defence at Northern Command by this Evil and Betrayal Junta Group.
Senior leaders of the Dire Dawa Administration and representatives of the Defense Force were present at the Ceremony.
