The Dire Dawa Administration Labor and Social Affairs Agency has provided practical training on psychology and nutrition to women with disabilities in the administration.
The Dire Dawa administration is working to achieve the national level 2030 zero plan on malnutrition by reducing 2% government budget. Meanwhile, the 9 sectors of the administration are carrying out the tasks assigned to them. Following this, the Labor and Social Affairs Agency has provided skills training on nutrition to women with disabilities.
Speaking on the occasion, representative for the Agency’s Head of Public Service, Mohamed Ibrahim, said the community should follow a balanced diet in order to produce a healthy citizen via consuming food items available to us in a daily basis.
According to Rahel Deneke, a representative on nutrition at the Agency for Labor and Social Affairs, the training was organized with priority for mothers with children up to 2 years old and Breastfeeding women with disabilities in the administration to improve the social security and better development of citizens by preventing malnutrition and providing a balanced diet.
