Women from all Urban Kebeles of Dire Dawa participated in the Food preparation program held at the Dire Dawa Railway Station today. In her opening remarks, Dire Dawa Administration Council Speaker, W / roFatum Mustafa, thanked the Dire Dawa Mothers for their significant contribution in the ongoing campaign to save the country.
Mayor Ahmed Buh expressed his gratitude to the all Urban Kebeles of Dire Dawa Mothers for providing food for the Army in every kebele and neighborhood and said that the role of Ethiopian women in the past has been invaluable to the historic victories from Adwa to the recent Law Enforcement Operation.
He also called on the society to continue its efforts until the death of the Terrorist Junta is officially announced. The Dire Dawa Joint Council of Political Parties, in collaboration with the Dire Dawa Electoral Board, handed over the food aid to the program and it will be further strengthened.
The event was attended by Speaker Fatum Mohammed and Deputy Mayor KedirJuhar, senior Government and Party leaders, as well as women from several Urban Kebeles.
