Today, the closing conference of the 2014 fiscal year was held in the meeting hall of the Ethio-Italian Polytechnic College.
The member of the party’s central committee and the chairman of the coordination committee, the mayor of the Administration Ato Kedir Juhar, who spoke at the same forum, acknowledged that the Prosperity Party accepts that the economic, social and political leadership of our country comes only from political parties that are elected by the people according to the constitution and that the strength of the leaders is measured by ensuring sustainable peace and economic and social development in which the people will benefit at all levels and that they have properly fulfilled the mission of building and ensuring the continuity of the democratic system.
Honorable Mayor Ato Kedir Juhar added that the Prosperity Party has been carrying out capacity building activities for the leadership and members at various times so that the leaders and members have clarity of thought around the purpose of gathering, to improve the understanding and analysis of the existing and conscientious situation, to be able to solve the pressing problems of the people in order and to develop the attitude of promoting democracy and fighting anti-democracy.
In order to achieve the goals we have set in the political field as an Administration, by coordinating the leaders and members and all the supporters of our administration in an organized manner, answering the unanswered major questions of the people at every level and providing strong leadership who are capable of solving the key questions of development and good governance that are complaining to the people, and by providing regular support and monitoring, the party is achieving tangible successes and results in our administration, Ato Ibrahim Yusuf, member of the central committee, chairman of the coordination committee and head of the Dire Dawa branch office of Prosperity Party said.
The report of the main activities carried out by the Dire Dawa Prosperity Party branch office for the fiscal year 2014 was presented by Ato Shakir Ahmed, the deputy head of the Dire Dawa branch office and the head of the political sector. The forum was concluded by issuing a 12-point position statement by consensus.
Today, at the forum held at the Ethio-Italian Polytechnic College’s meeting hall, the mayor of Dire Dawa Administration, Ato Kedir Juhar, the deputy mayor and head of the Dire Dawa branch office of the Prosperity Party, Ato Ibrahim Yusuf, Speaker of the Dire Dawa Admonition Council, Honorable W/ro Fethiya Aden, Cabinet members of the Dire Dawa Administration, the leaders and members of the Dire Dawa branch office of the Prosperity Party and leaders of the Opposition party participated.
